I started to exercise to lose weight becauseI have been kidding myself about lossing wieght. I keep saying “I want to lose weight” but never really put my losing weight plans into action. I may be a little bit over weight, but not severely obese. I’m just carrying a little excess weight. I have always tried losing weight, but I’ve never been able to manage more than a couple pounds off before I give up. The moment I stop thinking about lossing wieght, back it comes with a vengeance.
There are some exercises to lose weight that are better than others. I have quite a varied lifestyle. I take walks, ride my bike,play sports games with my kids. What I fail todo is to prepare and concentrate on lossing wieght exercises at a chosen time. I just exercise for fun, but my workouts have never helped me shed more than a couple of pounds. It is important to set aside time for lossing wieght exercises.
Exercises to lose weight must be carefully designed. If you are severely obese, almost any exercise will help you lose weight. You can exercise to lose weight by walking, jogging, biking, or using an elliptical trainer. But if you are just a little bit on the heavy side, you must use the right exercises if you are to lose weight. The best type are sustained exercises that work the whole body.
Swimming is an excellent exercise. Aerobics is another easy one to shed the pounds. Basically, if you want to exercise to lose weight, the key is timing it right. The longer you keep your heart rate up, the better. It is not important when lossing wieght to go all out the whole time. It is better to have a moderate exercise that lasts for 40 minutes or more.
My particular favorite exercise is swimming. I’m lucky enough to live by a large, calm lake. Every morning, I get up at five and swim for at least half an hour so I find lossing wieght this way a great pleasure. This is one of the best weight-loss workouts that there are. I swim at a moderate rate, not challenging myself to go as fast as I can, but rather to keep swimming for as long as I can. That way, I can keep my heart rate up for longer. Heart rate is crucial in any exercise to lose weight.
